To request samples, contact the broker in your region. Culinary Farms uses brokers throughout many parts of the country.

Samples

Samples are generally shipped by the 2nd business day after receipt of the request, unless a special request. Samples are generally shipped via UPS Ground. EXPEDITED samples may require an air freight account number from the requestor. LARGE samples may require a shipping account number from the requestor.

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance by Culinary Farms. Confirmations will be emailed for review.

Culinary Farms item numbers should be listed on purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate shipments.

Production Lead Times: Ten (10) business days prior to shipment.

F.O.B. Point: Woodland, CA 95776

Terms of Payment: Subject to credit approval, normally Net 15 days. Credit card payments accepted.

Transportation: Generally, orders less than 300 lbs are shipped UPS ground. Pallets and totes shall be shipped via a common carrier, normally LTL.
FROZEN PRODUCT orders must be shipped via Frozen LTL or overnight.
EXPEDITED orders may be subject to a surcharge of 5% of the order, $50 minimum. Call if urgent.

Shipping hours: M-F, 7:30 am – 2:30 p.m. Lunch break, noon-12:30 p.m.

Freight Charges

Freight charges are prepaid and added to invoice. Upon customer request we will ship freight collect. Customers are welcome to arrange their own shipping.

Contract Bookings

Culinary Farms is an agricultural based business. To guarantee availability of product, sales agreements will be negotiated on purchase commitments over 10,000 pounds.

Returns

Product returns require prior authorization from Culinary Farms and may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee plus return freight charges. Accepted returns will be for credit against future orders only.

Damaged or Missing Goods

When freight is prepaid by Culinary Farms, any merchandise damaged in transit shall require a written claim and digital photos submitted to Culinary Farms, or the broker, with a description of damage noted on the Bill of Lading and signed by the driver. Missing items must be reported immediately and noted on the Bill of Lading. If proof/notation is not provided to Culinary Farms, the customer will be responsible for payment. Do not short pay invoices without approval. Damage to shipments sent “Freight Collect” will be the responsibility of the recipient.
